Jeffrey Dahmer, also known as the Milwaukee Cannibal, murdered 17 men and boys and assaulted several others. Many of his homicides involved necrophilia, cannibalism and the permanent preservation of body parts.
Dahmer was later beaten to death in prison by another inmate.
Due to the gruesome nature of Dahmer’s crimes, they often took place in his apartment, thus disproving the theory that crimes take place outside of the criminal’s home.
