Richard Ramirez, also known as the Night Stalker, committed a series of assaults and homicides across California. Police often struggled to connect his murders because he used a wide variety of weapons.
Ramirez dropped out of high school and was homeless for the duration of his crime spree. He would often steal cars and valuables from the houses that he broke. Due to this, Ramirez did not ever have a home base to which he would return.
Ramirez died of complications from B-cell lymphoma while on death row.
